Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 1, 2025
1. Introduction
Napify ("we", "our" or "application") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information when you use our application. By using Napify, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Health Data (HealthKit)
Napify accesses Apple Health (HealthKit) data only with your explicit authorization. We may read, among others:
- Sleep analysis data (duration, stages, quality)
- Heart rate during sleep
- Oxygen saturation (SpO₂)
- Heart rate variability (HRV)
- Respiratory rate
This data is used exclusively to provide sleep and wellness-related features within Napify. We do not use your health data for advertising, marketing purposes, or data sales.
2.2 User Information
When you use Napify, we may collect and store:
- Name (optional, if provided, for example via "Sign in with Apple")
- App preferences and settings (for example, language, theme, notifications)
- Sleep goals and objectives (for example, desired sleep hours)
- Emotional diary entries (such as your mood and tags associated with the day)
This information is used to personalize your experience within the app.
2.3 Subscription Data
If you subscribe to Napify Premium, payment processing is done exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We may access information about your subscription status (active, expired, plan type) and purchase identifiers necessary to validate access to Premium content. We do not have access to complete payment data (such as card numbers), which is managed exclusively by Apple.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Calculate and display analyses about your sleep, as well as a nightly "score"
- Generate insights and natural language explanations about your sleep quality
- Provide bedtime recommendations based on your goal and sleep history
- Correlate your emotions with sleep quality when you use the emotional diary
- Operate the rewards system (streaks, shield, flex day, badges)
- Improve the app, understand usage patterns and plan new features
We use Sign in with Apple only to securely identify you and facilitate your access to the application. It does not automatically sync all your sleep data between devices; this synchronization depends on Apple Health and, in the future, additional cloud resources that may be offered.
4. Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
Most Napify data is stored locally on your device, including:
- App preferences and settings
- Sleep goals
- Emotional diary entries
- Data derived from sleep analyses (for example, score or summaries)
Sensitive data used for authentication (such as "Sign in with Apple" identifiers) may be stored securely in the device Keychain. We do not store Napify-specific passwords. You may also choose to keep your sleep data in Apple Health, under Apple's control.
4.2 Security
We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to keep your devices protected with a password, Face ID or Touch ID.
4.3 AI Processing
In some features, such as generating summaries and explanatory texts about your sleep, we may process data on our servers. When this happens, we send only the minimum necessary information (for example, sleep duration, nightly score, weekly trends). We do not send strong identification data, such as email or documents. The name, if used, is only to personalize the message (for example, "Good night, Ana") and is not used to create external profiles. Our servers may use third-party AI providers to generate these texts, always under contracts that prohibit the use of this data for advertising purposes or training external models.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent or commercialize your personal information.
We may share data only in the following situations:
- Apple: For subscription processing and billing through the App Store. For storage and management of health data in Apple Health, under your control.
- Technology providers (for example, cloud providers or internal analytics): Only with the minimum necessary data and always with contracts that prohibit the use of this information for advertising purposes or data sales.
- If, in the future, we use artificial intelligence providers to generate texts or insights, this will be done with the minimum necessary data and always respecting this Privacy Policy, which may be updated to accurately reflect this use.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and review your data within the application, whenever these features are available
- Revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Privacy settings
- Uninstall the application, which removes data stored locally on the device
- Cancel your Premium subscription at any time through App Store settings
At this time, we do not maintain a "Napify account" on our own servers with personal history; data remains on your device, in Apple Health and in Apple systems related to the subscription.
7. Data Retention
We keep your data while you use Napify on your device.
- When you uninstall the application, locally stored data is removed.
- Data stored in Apple Health remains under your Apple account until you manually delete it.
- Subscription data (purchase and renewal history) is maintained by Apple according to App Store policies.
8. Minors
Napify is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that data from a child under 13 has been improperly collected, we will take steps to remove it.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app improvements or legal changes. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of this document. We recommend that you review this policy regularly. If we make significant changes, we may notify you within the application itself.
10. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, contact us through the support page of Napify or through the official channels indicated in the application.
11. Applicable Legislation
We process your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection legislation, including, when relevant:
- The General Data Protection Law (LGPD), in Brazil
- International privacy regulations, such as GDPR, when applicable
